Bathroom coatings have been around for quite some time, however have only technologically improved in their performance in recent years. Before they had the appearance of varnish-like silicon products. Nowadays they are more akin to today's hydrophobic layers, engineered at molecular level. They have improved so much, that now consumers can be assured that they will be protected from limescale, soap scum and other dirt particles.
A major reason why many people choose to invest in coating their bathroom is the act that they will have to clean less. These are huge figures, and there is no doubt that if even a proportion of this could be used instead on protective coatings in the bathroom - the impact on the environment will be significant.
