Flip or Slide?: How Your Cell Phone Opens

Can consumers even imagine managing without mobile phones? What once was an unbelievable extravagance is now a typical everyday item. Choices are huge and the phone's functions are becoming unlimited. Given the availability of wholesale cell phones, prices are also lower. The wholesale cell phone buyer needs to make some decisions before purchasing a mobile phone. Function will, of course, be the dominant question, but the type isimportant, too. One issue will be how the cell phone opens: flip, slide, bar, or touch screen?
The flip phone is accessed using a hinge: the cover snaps open, revealing the keypad and screen. Imagine a clam shell. Lots of users like this style because with the keypad protected, they are not likely to accidentally hit the keypad and make those "who-is-this?" calls. The cover also guards the display from damage. Some consumers who grew up with traditional desk phones like the experience of speaking into a two-part device, which the flip phone provides. Cell phone wholesalers emphasize the slim size of these flip phones as one of their advantages.
The slide phone style also guards the buttons because the cover simply glides away. The keypad may appear either at the bottom or the side of the phone. Some designs allow the phone to slide out from either side of the base. These phones also tend to be slim. The screens are usually not shielded, but the accidental dial-up is unlikely to happen with these styles. Some buyers find these styles easier to answer using one hand.
The traditional bar phone is just a rectangle shape without a cover of any kind. Easy to answer, but a bit larger and bulkier than their elegant rivals, these phones are unguarded from the accidental call or smudged display. The buttons can be locked, but who reminds themselves to do that and who wants the additional hassle? But the "candy bar" phone does have a lasting quality and one less moving part to shatter. Cell phone wholesalers still offer this somewhat old-fashioned style.
Currently, the most popular wholesale cell phone is the touch screen. Originally, the touch screen did not have any shield or guard, but that is quickly switching as manufacturers have added covers for the keypad and screen to make a more flexible product. Many touch screen modelsreveal full typewriter keyboards but are still small. Cell phone wholesalers are eager to keep up with the need for these modern models.
In some respects, the advantages of a slide or flip model -- protecting the screen and eliminating accidental hits on the keypad -- can be achieved in other ways. Wholesale cell phone cases are available. These high quality leather or plastic cases provide the same protection as a cover. For purefun, cases can also make a robust fashion statement. Some come in vibrant colors. Others offer interesting patterns or photographs of celebrities or other popular figures like Hannah Montana. Cases have become something of a fashion je-ne-sais-quoi, especially foryoung trendsetters. But it is occasionally harder toanswer the phone or use the keypad when the cell phone is in its case.
A consumer who is choosing a wholesale cell phone should begin by identifying how he or she wants to protect the phone's keypad and features.
