When two people fall in love, they make a promise to themselves and to each other; a promise to be together at all times, a promise to not forsake each other, come what may. A promise to be with one another at good and bad times, a promise to love each other till the world ends. To make this known to the rest of the world and to get the legality to be united forever, they happily get married. The wedding has a lot of significance and so does the wedding ring; after all, two soul mates are uniting with each other to become partners of life.
The wedding ring that is exchanged on the most auspicious day in a couple's life has a lot of sentimental values attached to it. An engraving on the ring would make the ring and the occasion all the more special.
In the vintage ring if one has noticed the best part is not the diamond embedded but the inscription that is written on the ring.
The inscription could be anything, from the name of your partner to the date of you are wedding to anything. It actually gives you an opportunity to be creative and to think out of the box. You could also have a short poem or a phrase engraved on the diamond wedding ring or anything that best describes your relationship.
The engravings hold a special place in couple's life, it keeps reminding them their love for each other and what they think of each other, it acts like a guardian angel that is always watching and taking care of their relationship.
Before you get your diamond wedding ring engraved, you must be sure you get the right size ring or you might end up damaging the letters while sizing. You could either go for hand engraving or machine engraving. If you are getting your ring hand engraved, then be sure you get it done by a professional artisan who is some of the previous works you have seen, so that you could judge his quality accordingly.
